My name is Amanda. I am a Family & Wedding Photographer based in Hampshire, UK.
I specialize in capturing memories for families. I truly consider myself one of the luckiest people being able to do something I love so much as my career. ​
I live in Locks Heath, Hampshire with my husband John and my twin boys. When I’m not taking photos, I enjoy going for long walks down the beach with ice cream or in the local pub with a glass of red wine.
I’ve been a photographer all of my adult life. I always loved photography, and have been taking photographs since I was 16 when my Grandfather gave me my first Olympus film camera.
Before I found true love for wedding & family photography, I honed my craft working for publications such as Good Housekeeping, Esquire, You and Your Wedding and fashion retailers in London.
Through that experience, I learned how to get the most out of images by using beautiful lighting and composition. From that point, all I wanted to do was to become a family and wedding photographer.
I do not treat photography just as a job. Photography fulfils my life. Being a family & wedding photographer makes me happy because I create something that lasts forever. It does not have to be anything special to put my creative hat on and start snapping away. Every moment is worth capturing. I can get inspired by a gorgeous dinner in a pub or my boys playing in my back garden.
Clients and friends alike, have told me I have a casual and friendly approach to taking pictures, putting people at ease. As your family or wedding photographer, I aim to capture the feel, romance of your special day or the love of your family.
It is my passion to photograph the moments that matter to you, the love and laughter with your family that you can look back on with fondness.
